Since 1995 Montana River Guides has provided professional instruction to rafters, kayakers, canoeists, riverboarders, river guides and professional rescuers as well as over a hundred different agencies and organizations. Owner and lead instructor Mike Johnston has over twenty years of outdoor leadership and instructional experience, has been an EMT since 1986, and is the only River Rescue Instructor in Montana fully certified through Rescue 3 International. Our approach at Montana River Guides is to tailor the classes to meet student's individual needs and to provide fun, challenging, hands-on learning on the most beautiful rivers in Montana. We expect these classes to be the best and most enjoyable river training you'll ever experience.
