Missoula RaftingBitterroot River Float Trips  Brimming with wildlife and steeped in history, the serpentine Bitterroot River winds its way north between the Sapphire and Bitterroot Mountain ranges. This is the perfect choice for relaxing, birdwatching, and enjoying the mountain scenery. Bald eagles, hawks, mergansers, white tail deer and even moose can be seen along the Bitterroot, which is as thick with history as it is with wildlife. Ancestral home to the Salish Indians, the Bitterroot carves a path followed by Lewis and Clark as well as the Nez Perce’ Indians in their tragic 1877 journey. We float past Travellers Rest, where Lewis and Clark camped on their way west before crossing the continental divide and again when they returned in 1806.  We'll customize the trip for your schedule and group. There are a variety of sections of the river to float near Missoula and Hamilton. Bitterroot River Trips: $79 per person. Call for reservations. 800-381-7238.

Come join us for a river trip in our backyard--it's what we do.
