OUR PRIVACY POLICY

Montana River Guides will not share your personal contact information with a third party. All information entered into our website for online booking is secure.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Although every precaution is taken to safeguard you and your belongings, river trips by their nature involve a certain amount of risk. Montana River Guides and its personnel shall assume no responsibility whatsoever for injuries, damages, losses or delays to person or property. We require that you acknowledge these risks by reading and signing a liability release prior to departure. We are not responsible for items lost or left on premises.

WHO CAN GO?
Let Bernice and our office staff help you decide which river trip will be most appropriate for your group. At normal flows the Alberton Gorge is a perfect family whitewater trip. We take ages five and up. Younger kids and older folks or families wanting a more civilized ride can go in bigger rafts for a milder float while people who want a wilder ride will go in smaller paddle rafts. We monitor flows daily and during highwater conditions in May and early June, we sometimes restrict trips to guests ages 16 and up. Call 800-381-RAFT or 406-273-4718.

 DIRECTIONS TO THE ALBERTON GORGE

FROM MISSOULA
The Montana River Guides Shop is a 30 minute drive west of Missoula,
just off I-90.
Drive West on I-90 past Alberton. Take the Cyr Exit (Exit 70). After exiting you'll cross the river on the Cyr Bridge. You'll see the Cyr Bridge Fishing Access sign. Take an immediate hair pin left turn onto Sawmill Gulch Rd. after crossing the bridge (don't go across the railroad tracks), and you'll see the parking lot and river access and our sturdy shop, at the south end of the parking lot. Look for our yellow rafts

FROM COEUR D'ALENE & SPOKANE
*Remember to factor in the time change! We operate on mountain time in Montana, one hour later than Washington and Idaho.
Drive East on I-90 approximately 2 hours from Coeur d'Alene. Continue past the Superior and Tarkio Exits (you're getting close). Take the Fish Creek Exit (Exit 66) off I-90. Turn left at the stop sign off the Exit Ramp. Drive across the railroad tracks and turn right at the stop sign. Continue eastbound along the frontage road, Old State Hwy 10.  Go about 4 miles until you see a sign for the Cyr Bridge Fishing Access. Veer right off the frontage road and you'll see the parking lot and river access. Our shop is the brick building, the only building, at the far end (south) of the parking lot. Look for our yellow rafts!
If you somehow miss the sign to the Cyr Fishing Access, the eastbound frontage road crosses the river. This is the Cyr Bridge from which you can look down and see the river access on your right. If you miss this too you'll end up back on I-90 eastbound—so turn it around!
